Notes: Look for the "ETP CONFERENCE AITEX" sign at the airport bus parking.
Shuttles will depart on time.

Airport shuttles must be booked in advance—no bookings after the conference starts.

Public transport (airports)

The best option for reaching Alcoy is to rent a car at the airport. Taxis are available from the airport to Alcoy, but return trips by taxi can be difficult to arrange. There is no train between Alicante and Alcoy, but you can take a bus instead.

• Trains are available between Valencia and Alcoy (and vice versa), and tickets can be purchased at: Trenes.com 
  
• For buses (e.g., Alicante–Alcoy or Valencia–Alcoy), check: Alsa or Movelia.
  
  

Internal Shuttle Information (12–14 May)

To help attendees get around during the conference, we’re offering a free internal shuttle service within the city. Here are the details:

12 MAY

AITEX Visit:

• 15:50 – Departure from SERCOTEL (Alzamora bus stop). People from airport will already be at AITEX.
• 17:40 – Return bus from AITEX to SERCOTEL
  

JOVER Visit:

• 15:50 – Departure from SERCOTEL (Alzamora bus stop). For participants not arriving from Valencia. AITEX team member will be on this bus. Alicante arrivals may join if on time, an AITEX memberwill drive delayed attendees from SERCOTEL if needed.
• 17:40 – Return bus from JOVER to SERCOTEL.

Note: Buses cannot park at hotel doors, and all stops are public bus stops where buses will not wait; departures will be strictly on time.

You may join the visits ONLY if you have booked them in advance. The JOVER Textile visit is exclusively for ETP members, as part of our Textile ETP on Tour programme.

13 MAY

Morning Transfers to AITEX

• 08:20 – Bus departs from SERCOTEL (Alzamora stop), then
• 08:30 – Stops at RECONQUISTA (Alameda stop).
• 08:30 – Separate bus departs from RECONQUISTA.

Evening Return from AITEX to Hotels

• 18:10 – One bus to RECONQUISTA.
• 18:10 – One bus to SERCOTEL and RECONQUISTA.

• 08:35 – Bus departs from SERCOTEL (Alzamora stop), then
• 08:45 – Stops at RECONQUISTA (Alameda stop). 
• 08:45 – Separate bus departs from RECONQUISTA.
  
  

Gettin around Alcoy (Public transport)

If you miss the shuttle or it's full, no worries. Alcoy is small and easy to navigate!

City Bus – Line 3 (Red)

• AITEX stop: Carretera Banyeres

• Bus Station: Avenida Juan Gil Albert 42 (5 min walk to train station)

• SERCOTEL Hotel: Alçamora 24

• RECONQUISTA Hotel: Alameda 54 (5 min walk to AITEX)

During the Event – Line 2 (Green) (runs every 20 mins):

• From SERCOTEL: Alzamora 24 or Carretera de Banyeres

• From RECONQUISTA: Plaça Espanya 14 (best option), Pont de Jordi 1, or Carretera de Banyere

Once registration closes on 11 May, airport shuttle bookings will no longer be possible. If you don't see an option in your organizer form, it means the shuttle is fully booked. The conference shuttles have limited seating and cannot be reserved, so if they are full, you may need to use public transportation instead.
